According to industry data, more than 80% of safety accidents involving punch presses are caused by missing or failed protective devices, non-standard operating procedures, and illegal operations by employees, which are likely to result in malignant work-related injuries such as finger crushing and limb damage, seriously threatening the personal safety of employees and the production and operation order of enterprises. In the production workshop of a small hardware processing enterprise, law enforcement officers found during on-site verification that the photoelectric protection device of an old punch press with a service life of more than 8 years had a delayed response, and the trigger shutdown response time exceeded the safety standard.
